Today, we visited one of the fun places on the French Riviera – Aqua Land Sainte-Maxime located in the town of Sainte-Maxime.
This water park is an ideal destination for families with children, and groups of friends looking for refreshment and fun during hot summer days.
Water Paradise on the French Riviera
Aqua Land Sainte-Maxime may not be the largest water park, but that doesn’t matter at all. It still offers plenty of water fun.
This water park offers nine attractions that will delight mostly kids. For the youngest visitors, there is a special kids’ zone where they can safely play and enjoy the water fun.
Older children and adults can enjoy the thrills of the six larger slides, such as Kamikaze or Color Splash, which offer adrenaline-pumping experiences.
Relaxation for Parents
While your children enjoy their water adventure, parents can relax in the pool or on a sun lounger under an umbrella. A huge advantage of this water park is that it offers many loungers with umbrellas. You have to pay extra for a lounger; most cost 4 EUR per day, while loungers in the quieter zones cost a bit more.
Refreshments and Convenience
Aqua Land Sainte-Maxime also takes care of the comfort of its visitors. There are several snack stands where you can enjoy a variety of fast foods, ice cream, and refreshing drinks. For those who bring their own food, there are designated picnic areas.
Safety and Hygiene
The water park places a strong emphasis on safety and hygiene. Lifeguards are present everywhere, ensuring the safety of visitors, and all attractions are regularly maintained and inspected. The changing rooms and showers are clean and well-equipped.
Budget
A daily pass for a family of four – two adults and two children aged 4 to 11— costs 103 EUR. On top of that, add the fees for sun loungers, parking, and refreshments. A day at the park with your family will cost you around 200 EUR.
You can find all the attractions on the Aqua Land Sainte-Maxime map, this one is from the official website of the water park.
Tip
You can buy tickets directly at the venue or online. When purchasing your tickets, don't forget to reserve a sun bed, and if you're driving, be sure to get a parking ticket as well.
Address: Les Bosquettes, 83120 Sainte-Maxime, France
Conclusion and our Experience
We’ve visited Aqua Land Sainte-Maxime several times, and every time we’ve loved this water park. Our kids enjoyed a multitude of slides and water attractions, while we relaxed by the pool and soaked up the beautiful summer weather.
We prefer smaller water parks like this one because you can relax on a sun bed and still keep an eye on your children. You also don’t have to worry about your kids getting lost, which can be an issue in larger water or adventure parks. If you’re staying in Sainte-Maxime or nearby, Aqua Land is truly worth a visit.
